We are happy to announce that Palette Dome Cuisine and Chef Mesilati are now part of the extended Union Kitchen DC family, working from Union Kitchen&#8217;s new (and shiny!) location in Ivy City. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We always referred to Palette Dome Cuisine as a Boutique Catering and Personal Chef <strong>venture<\/strong>.  We consider ourselves not just a service, but also an educator.  We introduce people to a healthy life style through healthful food choices.  We help minimize our carbon footprint by using predominantly local organic produce.  We are eye openers of how food can change life.  It changed ours!<\/p>\n<p>Keep all of this in mind as you read the mission of Union Kitchen DC:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>We are the builders of our community.  We are informed but not bound by convention. Through collaboration, mindfulness, and execution, we bring people together for commerce, cooperation, and contribution to build the city we want to live in.  Union Kitchen strives to build a food system that is profitable, just, and sustainable. Everyday we work to make local scalable.
